WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY
At PowerHomeSupply, we take pride in offering RICH SOLAR products and ensuring that our customers have a smooth and transparent experience. Below is the detailed warranty and return policy for all RICH SOLAR products sold through our store.
LIMITED WARRANTY
RICH SOLAR provides a Limited Warranty to the original consumer purchaser, guaranteeing that its products are free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal consumer use during the applicable warranty period. The warranty period varies by product category and is subject to the exclusions outlined below.
This warranty represents RICH SOLAR's entire liability for any breach of warranty, express or implied.

Inverters
- Grid-Tie Inverters: 10-Year Warranty
- Pure Sine Wave Inverters: 2-Year Warranty
- Hybrid Inverters: 3-Year Warranty
Controllers
- MPPT Controllers: 2-Year Warranty
- PWM Controllers: 1-Year Warranty
The warranty for all other RICH SOLAR products and components is one (1) year from the date of original purchase.
A sales receipt or other documentary proof is required to establish the start date of the warranty period. Completing the RICH SOLAR Product Registration Form within 30 days of purchase can also establish the start date.
PRORATED WARRANTY COVERAGE
10-Year Prorated Warranty Rates
- Years 1-3: Full replacement (100% coverage)
- Year 4: 85% coverage (customer pays 15%)
- Year 5: 70% coverage (customer pays 30%)
- Year 6: 55% coverage (customer pays 45%)
- Year 7: 40% coverage (customer pays 60%)
- Year 8: 25% coverage (customer pays 75%)
- Year 9: 10% coverage (customer pays 90%)
- Year 10: 5% coverage (customer pays 95%)
5-Year Prorated Warranty Rates
- Year 1: Full replacement (100% coverage)
- Year 2: 80% coverage (customer pays 20%)
- Year 3: 60% coverage (customer pays 40%)
- Year 4: 40% coverage (customer pays 60%)
- Year 5: 20% coverage (customer pays 80%)
Failure to properly install or operate the battery voids the warranty. Please refer to the product manual for proper installation and operation guidelines.
RETURN POLICY
RICH SOLAR products include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Items must be new, unused, unmodified, and returned in their original packaging. Returns beyond 30 days require special authorization.
To initiate a return, email sales@richsolar.com with the following details:
- Order number
- Video or photo of the faulty product (if applicable)
- Proof of purchase
Returns due to carrier damage, defective products, incorrect items, or other shipping errors will be eligible for return shipping coverage by RICH SOLAR. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for all other reasons.
POST 30-DAY DEFECT AND RETURN POLICY
Defective Products
- RICH SOLAR will replace defective units confirmed by testing and cover return shipping.
Non-Defective or Customer-Damaged Units
- Customers will cover the repair and return shipping costs for non-defective items or items damaged due to misuse.
Change of Mind (After 30 Days)
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for items returned without defects.
ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY
Orders can be canceled within 72 hours of placement for a full refund. If the order has already shipped, customers will be responsible for return shipping costs.
REPLACEMENT POLICY
RICH SOLAR will replace any defective product that fails to operate within the warranty period. Replacements assume the remaining warranty of the original product or 90 days from the replacement date, whichever is longer.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
The Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Damage from accidents, misuse, abuse, or modifications.
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
- Products purchased through unauthorized resellers or online auction houses.
- Batteries not fully charged within 7 days of purchase and at least every six months thereafter.

Products returned for warranty service in North America will be shipped back at RICH SOLAR's expense. For products outside North America, contact your local distributor.
